Arte 10 presenta en Hudgraph “Desde Picasso a Warhol y Tàpies en la Colección Arte 10, una selección”. Se trata de unamuestrainformal de una treintena de obras originales sobre papel, comisariada por Clara Villaverde Urtiaga. La selección discurre por un universo de vanguardias y grandes figuras del arte desde comienzos del siglo XX hasta el pop.  

Son un conjunto de grabados, litografías y serigrafía procedentes de la Colección Arte creados por  10 figuras señeras del arte moderno y contemporáneo internacional. Son 10 artistas del viejo continente que residieron en París y cuyos primeros testimonios datan de hace ya un siglo. Partieron de fuentes culturales muy diversas, España, Rusia y Francia y desarrollaron estilos y creencias comunes como el expresionismo, el constructivismo o el surrealismo. Son artistas nacidos alrededor de los años 1880 y cuyo testimonio despega en un París convertido en impulso de las vanguardias: Matisse, Villon, Survage, Picasso, Chagall, Delaunay, Utrillo, Laurencin, Beaudin, Miró o Poliakoff.

En el caso de los artistas americanos, nacidos en los años 20, hundieron sus fuentes en el viejo continente y abrieron su creatividad a las múltiples ideas procedentes del éxodo plástico de la Segunda Guerra Mundial impulsando lo que se vino en llamar el expresionismo abstracto, o el pop art más tarde. Nos estamos refiriendo a Jaspers John, Liechtenstein o Warhol. Nuestra comisaria, ha querido homenajear al reciente fallecido español Tàpies, máxima expresión del expresionismo matérico.

Art 10 presents in Hudgraph "From Picasso to Warhol and the Art Collection Tàpies 10, a team." This is an informal showing of some thirty original works on paper, curated by Clara Villaverde Uritaga. The selection runs through a world of avant-garde and art great figures of the from the early twentieth century to pop.
They are a set of etchings, lithographs and silkscreen art from the collection created by 10 leading figures of international modern and contemporary art. There are 10 artists from the old continent who lived in Paris and whose earliest evidence dating back a century. They started from very different cultural sources, Spain, Russia and France and developed styles and common beliefs such as Expressionism, Constructivism or Surrealism. They are artists born around 1880 and whose testimony takes off in a Paris turned into the avant-garde impulse: Matisse, Villon, Survage, Picasso, Chagall, Delaunay, Utrillo, Laurencin, Beaudin, Miró and Poliakoff.
For American artists born in the 20's, plunged their sources in the old continent and opened their creativity to the exodus of many ideas from plastic Second World War promoting what came to be called abstract expressionism, or pop art later. We refer here to John Jaspers, Liechtenstein and Warhol. The curator Villaverde wanted to honor the recently deceased Spanish Tàpies,the highest epitome of matteric Expressionism.
